Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E™) Trigger

Built on the chassis of the Geissele SSA® , the Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E™) provides enhanced trigger control and weapon accuracy while maintaining the robustness and reliability of our combat-proven two-stage trigger. The SSA-E’s reduced first and second stage pull weights result in a trigger with a smooth, light first stage take-up and a crisp, candy cane-like second stage break. The SSA-E™ is ideal for use in precision Squad Designated Marksman type rifles where weapon accuracy and reliability are critical and a non-adjustable drop in trigger is desired.

The Geissele Super Semi-Automatic Enhanced (SSA-E™) Trigger is a finely-tuned semi-automatic-only version of our full-auto, two stage combat trigger presently used in the U.S. Special Operations Community.

    Holy Hell...my first, perfect two-stage trigger
    Holy hell...I fell in love with this trigger on it's first break. Holy hell...it was perfection. I only like 2-stages triggers. I built up a 20" 'quasi-match-grade" barrel AR in .223 Wylde LWRC upper. There's a good amount of space between air and that second break, which takes so little effort that I'm convinced if I take up the 1-stage slack, just thinking about that second break will make it so. It's that easy and crisp. I strongly recommend this trigger for a DDM-type/style rifle, not for your room-clearing rifle.

    Never buying another trigger again.
    This trigger has ruined me for life. I will never be able to put a different trigger in any of my builds. I have some others I love, but this one take the cake.

    Superior Trigger
    I have this specific trigger in 3 of my guns and absolutely love it. Its super easy to install and there is a noticeable difference in standard mil spec triggers compared to all of Geissele's triggers.

    Ah another 5 star review
    Whats the most important part of a firearm? Is it the trigger? I sure as heck don't know. Why would you care what I think? Yet if you are reading this, you are sifting through the opinions of plebeians like myself who spent a few minutes to write something on a website. But if you made it this far in my ramblings, collect my two cents. Its a good trigger. The best? I don't know! I only have experience with a few. It surely is one of the better ones I have tried. I started with an AGL ACT. It did the job. I upgraded to the SSA-E. I could tell the difference. Crisp, clean, smooth, like a top shelf shot of whiskey on a winter night. Just as satisfying too. So you might as well get this and save yourself the hangover. Though the price is a bit steep, its well worth it when it goes on sale. In the mean time, just practice with what you have or can afford. Get good with a mil-spec trigger, and you'll be good with this. It may enable you to improve, but it will surely not make up for a lack of trigger discipline. Its a good trigger. Not a magic one. Now go away and do something productive.

    Top Notch Trigger, may be a little bit light for some users.
    This is an excellent trigger. I picked mine up locally, Geissele is on of the few companies that has triggers in stores. I'm just a shooting sports enthusiast who likes good triggers, not an expert. I replaced my stock AR trigger with this beauty and am really enjoying it. The stock trigger was certainly adequate and I could work with it but there was a little grittiness and the rifle just didn't feel quite like an extension of me. Now it does. This trigger is super smooth with just a little bump of a second stage. Overall travel is about the same as the stock trigger but a good bit lighter and much smoother. The second stage is just enough that you can stop there or you can pull straight through for rapid fire. It has a nice short reset, too. I will say that this is a pretty light trigger and I could see where some might actually prefer the non-enhanced version, I'm sure I'd be happy with that one and as smooth as this is the heavier pull weight would not be a hindrance. This trigger may be a little light for some users, if you aren't careful you can pull through the second stage without stopping.

    It will not let me select the 5 star button which is what this review is 5 Stars.Just got my first Geissele trigger. This was also my first trigger job. 20 minutes later I was dry firing my DDM4 V7. 20 minutes later I was amazed. I see my other rifles getting new triggers in the near future. Great Trigger,,,

    Best trigger on the market hands down. Had been doing research for about 4 years on this trigger. Finally bought 2 of them. If you have been on the fence about the price vs. quality, just go ahead and get one. YOU WILL NOT REGRET IT!! Completely changes the rifle.

    SSA - E Trigger
    I installed a SSA-E Trigger in my AR last Friday and took it to the range yesterday. I have a SIG 516 Upper with an Areo Precision M4E1 Lower. The SSA-E is the perfect trigger for this weapon. It is smooth and precise with a great break and reset. My shot groups are better than ever.
